Our algorithm suggests your first missions based on your areas of expertise. For each mission, you can review the brief and the associated fee.
Talk directly with the client from the platform to submit your candidates. The higher your interview and hire rates, the more missions you receive.
headhunters speak for themselves
I really like Muzzo because sometimes you just don't feel like prospecting clients yourself. And the model is genuinely fair, compared with other systems where you only get a tiny share of the fee.
Muzzo is a great platform that gives access to specialised headhunters who are experts at recruiting specific profiles.
The missions Muzzo offers are really interesting and the team is always available and responsive. I also love the video brief — concise and well organised, it makes the client's stakes easy to grasp!
I enjoy working with the Muzzo team — they listen to the kind of missions I'm looking for and don't hesitate to recommend relevant ones.
I clearly recommend Muzzo. I talk about it around me, especially to friends who have launched their own recruitment firm.
The companies I work with are really interesting — great challenges every time. And it's great to get advice from the client to find the ideal profile; it helps recruit faster.
FAQ
The algorithm distributes missions among recruiters.
The logic behind the algorithm
It takes into account your areas of expertise, but also your track record with Muzzo and your statistics. It favours both new recruiters, to get to know them, and experienced recruiters with the best statistics.
The parameters the algorithm takes into account
- Your areas of expertise
- Your proactivity
- Your rate of candidates accepted for interview by the client
- Your placement rate
To keep good statistics, it is better to submit fewer candidates, but the most relevant ones possible. Every quarter, the best recruiters receive the Super Recruiter badge, which comes with certain perks.
What to avoid
- The volume strategy: clients don't come to Muzzo for that, and they complain about it. Sending irrelevant applications directly erodes client trust. Favour quality over quantity.
- The passive strategy: accepting missions without ever sending candidates hurts your statistics, and you take up the spot of another recruiter who may have candidates in their pipeline.
Decline rather than let expire
Suggestions expire after three business days. If a mission doesn't suit you or you don't have the bandwidth to work on it, please decline it and explain why. If you let too many missions expire, you will be considered inactive and the algorithm will stop suggesting missions to you. Declining also lets the mission go to another recruiter.
Of course! Communication is essential to a successful recruitment, and the platform's internal messaging is made for that. If you earn the Super Recruiter badge, you will even get access to the client's phone number.
As soon as you accept the mission, quickly get in touch with the employer (through Muzzo messaging or by email) to introduce yourself and confirm the start of the search. This will help you understand how often the client wants to hear from you.
Then keep up a post-interview follow-up (based on feedback from your candidates and the client): adjust the search if needed and take on an advisory role. These touchpoints strengthen the relationship, showcase your work and improve results.
After submitting one or more applications, don't hesitate to follow up with the employer (through Muzzo messaging or by email). A courteous message recalling the mission's progress and asking for feedback on the submitted profiles is usually well received.
A useful tip: highlight that their feedback is essential to refine the search, adjust the profiles you submit and maximise the relevance of your selection. It also reinforces your position as an active partner invested in their success.
Yes, you can work on exclusive missions if Muzzo offers them to you, particularly for C-level positions or following a specific client request.
If a candidate has already been submitted by another recruiter through Muzzo, a message will prevent you from submitting them a second time.
You can always abandon a mission. However, it's better to decline missions from the start if you don't plan to work on them actively — it avoids penalising you in the suggestion algorithm.
Your fee is calculated pro rata to the placed candidate's total gross annual salary. When you receive a mission suggestion, Muzzo displays an estimate of your future fee based on the salary range provided by the employer. The amounts shown on the platform are exactly what you invoice Muzzo (excl. VAT) in the event of a placement.
To trigger client invoicing, please send the following to billing@muzzo.io:
- written proof of the candidate's acceptance of the position (email, signed offer letter or signed contract stating the accepted package)
- your invoice
Your invoice must state
- recipient: Muzzo, 48 rue de la Bienfaisance 75008 Paris, SIRET 89097787900026
- the first and last name of the person recruited, along with their position
- the name of the end client
- the package your fee was calculated on
- your IBAN
Unless an exceptional agreement is made with the client, a 3-month guarantee applies. When a client activates the guarantee, Muzzo publishes a new mission putting 50% of the fee you received back at stake.
You are then free to accept or decline this replacement mission: if you accept and find a replacement, you keep that 50%. Otherwise, the amount will be withheld from your next recruitment. If there is no new recruitment within 4 months, the withholding becomes a repayment obligation.
Note: a recruitment made as part of a replacement mission does not itself carry a replacement guarantee.
Since 01/06/2025, a subscription is required to access missions.
No, we don't ask you to be exclusive with Muzzo to join our community. However, we count heavily on your responsiveness towards the companies using the platform.
